Shipping Methods:
We offer the choice of Standard or Express Post options at the checkout. Postage cost are calculated automatically during checkout based on the weight and size of the order and start at $6.95 for standard and $10.55 for Express Post. Delivery times vary depending on the service selected and the delivery location. Express Post is generally the fastest option however we can't guarantee delivery times once your order has been collected from our warehouse
MODELROCK ships daily from our warehouse on the NSW Central Coast, the majority of parcels are sent via Australia Post or Aramex (formerly Fastway) couriers. If you are happy for your parcel to be left in a safe place you can select 'YES' for 'Authority to Leave' during checkout. By doing this your parcel, at the drivers discretion, will be left in a secure place on you premises. For all other deliveries the delivery driver will require a signature or may choose to leave the parcel if they identify a safe location otherwise a calling card or text / email notification will be left with instructions on where to collect your parcel. Please ensure you collect promptly otherwise the parcel will be returned to us and incur fees for re delivery
If you have specific delivery instructions, prefer a specific delivery company or do not want your parcel left unattended please tell us in the comments section when you place your order.
Order Confirmation:
Once you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation with all the details of your purchase. Please review this information carefully to ensure accuracy and that the delivery address is correct.
If you notice any errors, please reach out to our customer support team immediately for assistance. We are unable to make changes to the delivery address once order are dispatched. You may be able to organise a redirection after dispatch via a link on the carriers tracking notification
Tracking Your Order:
To keep you informed about your package's whereabouts, we provide tracking information for all orders. Once your order is dispatched and collected by the carrier, you will receive an email containing a tracking number. You can use this number to track your package's progress on our website or with the respective shipping carrier
Orders are packed throughout the day but you will not receive a dispatch notification email until later in the afternoon after the carrier has collected your parcel from our warehouse. You can check your orders status prior to this via the My Account page or the Track my Order page.
In addition to a dispatch notification from us, you may receive SMS or emails from the carrier directly with updates on your delivery, these notifications will often provide additional options to manage your delivery.
Delays and Exceptions:
While the majority of orders are delivered in a timely manner there are occasionally delays that are completely beyond our control. Please refer to the carriers tracking page in the first instance as any delays are often noted here. After that we recommend contacting the carier directly as they are best positioned to resolve the issue, for extedned delays or where the carrier is not able to assist reach out to our customer service team and we will assit.
INTERNATIONAL
We ship to selected international locations, enter your country and postcode when viewing your cart or checking out to see the available shipping options and prices. Website pricing is in Australian dollars (AUD). All orders are charged in AUD and may be converted into your local currency by your payment provider.
Upon arrival into your country your order may be assessed by the local customs authorities to determine any local duties, taxes or fees payable. MODELROCK has no control over these fees and if unsure we recommend checking with your local authorities before ordering as you will have to pay any duties and taxes applicable to them before they release your parcel for delivery.
